Storm! Poem by Michelle Mason

Rain crashes against the window,
The sky lights up
With a flash of lightening,
Thunder rumbles in time with the lightening.....

Crashes and bangs is all you can hear,
Fire roars as the flames alight......

Yellows and blues is all you can see
As the zigzags of lightening light up the sky,
Dancing flames in the fireplace,
Warming the place........

Feeling warm and safe behind
The window pane,
As you watch the storm, stir & brew
Out in the worldliness..........

Once again the lightening strikes
Bold as brass as the thunder roars,
Jumping back in fright
With the loudness of the thunder.....

While you watch the amazing show
as the lightening strikes again! ! ! ! ! !
