Storm Clouds Gather Poem by Thabo Seseane

Storm Clouds Gather

Looking angry as yesterday
Loaded with fury,
Rumbling: Stay inside!
And despite releasing
Torrents of rain at night,
For a week-

Yet heavier grows the load of fury
In the clouds.

And every morning the clouds regather
Looking angrier than yesterday,
Growling: Stay inside!
The load of fury grows too heavy to bear;
Be ready for the coming week
When the deadly deluge is to come.
It is called
A storm of cytokines.
