Strange I Feel Today (Sonnet #65) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Strange I Feel Today (Sonnet #65)

So strange I feel today, for no reason
It feels good to wake up with different thoughts
To break old patterns and start new season
With worthwhile dreams, unlike those we sought

I admit, nothing will change if I don't
I'm no longer the old person I was
Proud am I of the new me, wise and strong
I dream big and chase them among the stars

I'm the fruit of your sweet love, dear soulmate
Mighty is love, it sculpts us as it wants
Wonders with you I live, my gift from fate
Our two hearts match as one amid the throng

Only you could unveil and touch my soul
For only with you does she feel enthralled
