Stranger Poem by Stavros Skamagkis

Stranger

Rating: 5.0

Stranger,
I see your unfathomed desire
At night you swim in a silent mire
and you long for so long to start this fire.

But in this silent fortress of glass
what you need to love will break in a flash.

And you stranger,
You always feel, you are always struck
by an unseen spark in your heart.

If only a blinding thunder
made you play a part

beneath this mire
where the pearls lie
many leagues under.

Then we would as one mark
A brand new start.
