Stranger Poem by Lisa Weaver

Stranger

In a lovely lie, a tear or nothing more.

I dream of how things could be, for you I had such amore.

You know that its true.

I only wish things, were different between me and you.

The two people within my heart, kept discrete from one another.

I feel so terrible inside

How could I have two lovers?

So I sit alone and wonder

Who's heart to break and which one's heart to take and keep safe from danger.

I feel that I can't ever love you though, because

you treat me like a stranger.
