Strangers In Love Poem by Sherline Facey Facey

Strangers In Love

Strangers In Love
His eyes locked in mine as I sat on the bus.
He stood there just staring
I felt a strange rush.
The moment was surreal
Couldn't understand how I feel
A current of emotion passed over my heart, like a fluttering butterfly looking for a start.
He looked lovingly with a stare that brought deep emotion, sweet connection, even adoration
His dark brown eyes captivated me, keeping track of his destination
I sat frozen in time
The feeling was sublime
He stared at me one last time
I almost waved
He departed the bus
We finally parted without a word.
