Strong, You Say You Are. Bold, Even From Afar. Poem by Kayla Roberts

Strong, You Say You Are. Bold, Even From Afar.

Strong, you say you are
Bold, even from afar

But when the world crashes down,
Will you be able to stand your ground?
But if you're in the center of it all,
Is there anything to prevent your fall?

What if you're only strong,
'Cause you've nothing to prove you wrong?
What if you're only bold,
'Cause you have your innocence to hold?

The world has a stronger pull
Than any human soul
The world hates resistance
And answers with persistence

So the answer is plain enough,
Act smarter than you are tough
Be strong by not getting involved
And leave the experience unsolved
