Stronger Than Pain Poem by micheal john

Stronger Than Pain

I've known for long
Yes I've learned for long
Yes I've seen beyond eyes vision
I've felt beyond feelings
For in pain there my pleasure is

What agony sings I've heard
The stronger the pain
The stronger the me
For what broken heart sings I tuned
For what rejection holds I received

My fragile heart is been torn apart
Time as countless as ocean sands
By the ruthless occupants of the earth
I've sung melancholy
I've danced in despair

River of tears had flooded my countenance
I've borne the unbearable
Luck fled my camp
Uncertainties sang my days to slumber
Despair led me by arms to sorrows residence

Yet I saw victory
I saw breakthrough
In the face of nail biting struggles
As I had my bath taken in the river of tears
And dried by the towel of folly
But I put on the undefeated garment

I've lived my hero
I'm my legend
I'm my king
I'm the victory I've known
I'm my mentor, none is better than

Sands of time knows me by name
Seasons of the sky envied my ego
I'm the rhythm on your radio
I'm the writing on your walls
I'm the image on your screen
I'm the hero unforgettable
I'm one stronger than pain
I'm my legend
