I tell myself that
Today could be the day
The day that I get over you
And though each days the same
I'll try a little harder
But to say that I don't love you
Well that would be a lie
Because I still do
And as I try to say goodbye
The reluctance of my heart
And the willingness of my mind
Cause great controversy in my soul
I try to say goodbye
But you own my heart
The heart that's trying so hard
To get over you and say goodbye.
