The pain we have caused has consumed me
Runs inside so deep within me, I can’t seem to breathe

Feels as if my heart is shattered
Feelings up and down, uncertainly scattered

Emotions unpredictable, taking each of its turns
Stability soothing my soul, my heart sorely yearns

Can’t see beyond you and me, why do I have to
Love is not always a guarantee, now there’s nothing further to pursue

Trying to find the strength to put out previously set fires
Not knowing how to move on when it’s you my heart desires
