Stuck At Why

When I'm stuck at why I choose the one to lie
only because I dread the sigh
Sigh of relief? No. the sigh that comes with cry
My tongue does not want to be heard at sight of your face
but as I write, these words dance on the page
Lie to myself, convince myself your just a hopeless temptation
but oh my! at the butterflies inside as I look into your eyes
I plead the fifth when your at question, for all they know your only a myth
Too long awaiting and I start to drift,
reminisce times with you and look forward to signs of truth
The way I feel is never hidden just pay attention it is simply written
Tho speaking of is forbidden
Threatened with solitude and I throw in the white ribbon
As Im stuck at why i hope your words can guide me to the path most lighten
The urge to rush is strong but my patience is key to setting your emotions free
and tho I've written you can be one to speak.
