Stuck In The Clouds Poem by Nightshade Starlight

Stuck In The Clouds

I see these puffy white clouds around me.
My laughs echo in purple words,
Floating like soft whisps of smoke.
My fingers twirl in the light fluff
And I can't help but laugh at where I am.

Down below I can the tows,
The look like little dots from high above.
The roads are twisty and windy,
While at night the world is lit,
In a beautiful sparkling world that too good to be real.

I flying clouds, laying on air.
This is where the angles fly,
This where their music floats in the air.
I know its just a fantasy, my minds stuck in the clouds
And I know that I'll be falling soon.

My real body's down there somewhere,
I'm faintly aware of it moving around now.
Only, I'm more familiar with the clouds.
I swirl and dance on air
While the angels sing a song to me.

The air is beautiful and I can dream,
Even as the world spins round and round,
I know that I can always come up here,
Where nothing is reality, and just a dream.
For I can finally seem to breathe in peace.

I flying clouds, laying on air.
This is where the angles fly,
This where their music floats in the air.
I know its just a fantasy, my minds stuck in the clouds
And I know that I'll be falling soon.

The storm clouds are coming,
The lightning is flashing brightly in the darkness.
Thunder booms and echoes in my ears
Shaking my world and I can faintly see reality,
Coming fast and clear into my mind.

The clouds beneath me give and I can feel myself fall.
Air swirls around me, memorie that I don't want.
Thoughts that haunt me every waking moment.
Pain pounding through my heart fast and clear,
And I can't help my try and get stuck in the clouds.

That was where I felt like I was layin on air
It was where the angels flew, in their golden wings.
While their music floated in the air like magic.
I knew it was just a fantasy, with my head stuck in the clouds.
And I knew that I would fall back into reality.

As my feet touch ground,
I can feel my self break.
