Stuck In The Past Poem by maddie silla

Its been a while since I've opened my book,
i guess I'm bottled up and beaten down.
I'm sorry I've let this go on for so long,
but this road has been touch, maybe i should give up.

No i cant, that's not me i gotta keep going until
I'm free, i might not make it to the finish line or
get the blue ribbon, but whose going to tell me
what i cant or can do? i am me and that's enough
your just to blind to see.

I know i can get there with a push, my head held high
but my legs wont move I'm stuck int he past and i cant
get through
