Success Poem by peter adeleke

Success

Rating: 4.5

After passing through the flames of failure,

We would widely wave a victory's flag;

In pain-shattering, grief-trapping of nature,

Failure is just a challenge, we'll be glad.

Failure's a cloth of shame, a brief stoppage,

A brother to success in man's life-time,

A part of wheel that runs into one's age;

With flawless-flaws that often mar a prime.

But be strong, with strength to give what it takes,

The path to success is broadly narrow,

Filled with failing stream of odd mistakes,

That stands to overshadow our morrow.
