Such is Life…

Here it comes,
The raging summer in Delhi
To add the woes, there goes electricity
Add up to it
The toxic pollution,
and spike in covid cases
Still, it endears
To watch the lush laburnums and Gulmohar
Standing tall and wide,
to see the hibiscus and sunflowers
Smiling and shining

Taste buds and body
crave for lemonade and nimbu paani,
But the price of these is high
Such is life…
Preserve the lemon
and use the fossils with discretion
Respect the nature,
bear the scorching Sun
and enjoy the bright foliage
Such is life…
evolve the self,
with hope in hearts
and optimism in minds
