Sudden Emotions Poem by Mackenzie Acheson

Sudden Emotions

You can hate me all you want,
You can pound me to the ground,
But if that's all you've got,
Then you'd better turn around.
Because I'm finished with your lies
I'm tired of your promises
Just forget your family ties
Because you're someone no one misses.
You say I was the favourite?
The one our parents loved?
Ever thought that maybe I hate it,
that maybe I'd rather be shoved?
You just ate out my soul.
You ate it in one bite.
You can forget me in whole
Because you just got the sight.
