Sufficit Poem by John Bannister Tabb

Sufficit

We are alone!
The night-winds moan
For envy, and the sobbing rain
Protests in vain.
How deep their darkness! But our night,
Than day more bright,
Needs not the glimmering orbs above,
But only Love.
