Sufi's Kitchen Poem by Sumita Jetley

Sufi's Kitchen

In the heart of Punjab's vast embrace,
A matron of faith, with a serene grace,
In her kitchen, where love's recipes blend,
Lives the essence of 'Aaj Rang Hai' penned.

Amidst chores' whirl, she sits so still,
Quran-e Sharief, her heart's tranquil thrill.
Ramzan's blessings, in her soul, deeply sewn,
A Sufi's love, in her spirit, fully grown.

Reflections deep, of the Prophet's way,
In her heart, his teachings brightly stay.
Gratitude's dance, in every moment shown,
For the love, the light, she's always known.

Surrounded by life, by love's tight embrace,
Her wisdom, a guide, a divine grace.
A beacon of Shukr, for all to see,
In her presence, the soul feels free.
