Sugary Sweet Poem by Isabelle M

Sugary Sweet

A scent so saccharine sweet,
A smile that goes unmatched,
A gaze that sweeps me under my feet.

You make my heart skip a beat,
As if my oxygen has all been snatched.
I really should be more discreet-

Maybe I should retreat,
Start to retract!
You make me feel so bittersweet--

So complete
I become so reattached,
As my feelings start to accrete,

You're like a special treat,
One that must to be snatched,
Before this all becomes so obsolete.

Is this poem still sweet?
Will it be matched?
How am I going to compete,
Perhaps I should just take a seat.
