Suicide Awareness Poem by Lyndsay Campbell

Suicide Awareness

So many times I'm hurting
I wish that I could say
I have friends that come
To try and improve my day

I wish I could find love
That could help me in this pain
But no one seems to care
Enough to ease my strain

Each moment I grow weary
Of this life I live each day
If only one could be my friend
In this world I'd want to stay

But since no one cared to help
I took my life last night
If only someone shared their love
I'd still be right here tonight
