Suicide Of Stanley Greene Poem by Randy Briggs

Suicide Of Stanley Greene

Rating: 5.0

Standing on the horizon
Accompanied by a rope,
He places the
Noose around his neck
It is his breath
He wants to choke.
Upon taking his life,
A moment of
Reflection, where
Grasses grow and children play
But there was
Always something missin’.

Floating above the earth
His eyes they slowly shut,
But life as it was will
Go on, forgetting even his
Name. The flowers will bloom
And the sun will set,
Grasses grow high as
The buffalo die
To give or take but don’t regret-
And love he’ll never know.
