Suicide To Death And Then Heaven Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

Suicide To Death And Then Heaven

He was suicidal
But he just kept holding on
Maybe it was the friends
Maybe it was the fun
Maybe he was too much of a coward
To shoot himself with a gun
Maybe he kept thinking
There was something beyond

So he kept saying
Maybe there's a God out there
He kept praying
And some of his things he would share
He kept hoping
More than anyone would dare
Then he got cancer
Isn't that really weird

So now that he was dying
He didn't really want to die
But no one had the answers
When he started to ask why
He went through chemo
But it was just another useless try
Cause though it work for others
For him the tie wouldn't tie

One day he went to heaven
But other thought his life had failed
He had faith to pray to God
Why didn't God heal
So often no one knows what happens
Beyond this earthly veil
It takes faith to trust in Jesus
It takes faith to believe Heaven is real

Blessed are they that believe and have not seen
Jesus said to Thomas
This is not just an empty dream
This is a promise
So give up the faith because life is mean
Don't get stuck in a rhombus
Pray and trust the King of kings
Greet each other with a handshake, hug or holy kiss
