Summer. Poem by Mohit Chouhan

Summer.

With all the passion, warmth
And glory of the sun.
Lone noons, sultriness spun.
There are other ornaments which augment beauty to summer's stun.

It's respite period of children,
Season of joy, away from school's sermon.
That scorch and sweat is ardour dampening grasses of playful garden.

It's the time when these rooted babies grow from wombs,
Light being their food,
They dance and vigorously blooms.

It's the spell which reveals true significance of water,
Whose every drop our dry throat savour.
It's those lively breeze in evening,
Relief for night from day's seething.

I adore every season,
But my heart tilt a little towards summer
For these reasons.
