Summer Poem by Rinika Bhowmick

Summer

Beneath the sun's unyielding gaze,
Summer arrives in a golden blaze,
A season of warmth, a vibrant embrace,
Where nature's beauty finds its place.

The earth awakens with joyful delight,
As meadows bloom, in colors so bright,
Petals unfurl, like dreams set free,
In gardens of bliss, a sight to see.

The days stretch long, as if to say,
'Embrace the sun, let worries sway,
For in this season, time slows its pace,
And moments of joy leave a lasting trace.'

The laughter of children fills the air,
Their carefree spirits without a care,
Splashing in rivers, building castles in sand,
They revel in freedom, a jubilant band.

The symphony of birds, a sweet refrain,
Their melodies carry away all pain,
A chorus of nature's harmonious song,
Celebrating life, all summer long.

The ocean beckons with its azure tide,
Inviting us to its vastness wide,
The soothing waves kiss the shore,
As we dive into waters, seeking more.

Beneath the shade of leafy trees,
We find respite, a gentle breeze,
Picnics and gatherings, moments to share,
With loved ones, creating memories rare.

As twilight paints the sky in hues,
Of oranges, pinks, and passionate blues,
We witness the beauty of sun's descent,
A breathtaking sight, a moment well spent.

So let us revel in summer's delight,
Embrace its warmth, bask in its light,
For in this season, love is in bloom,
And life's possibilities forever loom.
