Summer Days Poem by (kc) ripper

Summer Days

Rating: 2.7

On a stinking hot summer days
The beach is my haven.
Dashing and diving and splashing everywhere.
I play with my dog in the sand and
Yell ‘dig, dig, dig! ’
He probably loves it more than me,
But if I could teach him to surf
He’d love it even more.

Staying in the sun and the surf for hours on end,
Not a cloud in the sky, not a care in the world.
A set comes through and I catch the first wave,
As I bottom turn the reality of this paradise
Comes to life as the red, orange and golden sun
Dives into the horizon.
After a stinking hot summers day.
