' Summer Light... ' Poem by MoonBee Canady

' Summer Light... '

Rating: 2.6

Summer Light -Thru the Trees
Summer Light - Spotted Me
Summer Light - Palest Gold
Summer Light - Bright and Bold

I Saw Summer Light Descend
Summer Light, Made Shadows Bend
Summer Light, On An Emerald Pond
I Reached Out… It Touched My Palm

Summer Light, It Fell Like Powder
Or a Floating Incandescent Feather
Came Down, Like A Sheer, White Swan
Summer Light – Lifted Wing-Like Arms

So Sunrays Slanted – Shone-Misty
Summer Light-Beams, Embraced Me
Warm, Wonderful Summer Light
Touch Me Tender, Solar- Might

Summer Light, When I Was Lost
Summer Light, Found Me Before Frost
Summer Light - None Else Looked For Me…
Summer Light Said, “I Always See…”

I Love Summer Light

Hi Jess, MoonBee Here... and I just wanted to say thanks for reading 'MY' Summer Light Poem... I am glad whenever readers & fellow poets enjoy my poetic efforts... Needless to say, this poem of mine & a few others - has found its way onto many sites on the internet. (and some people - do try to take credit for my work - although once somebody reads my work, they can tell my signature by my structure & verse-wording and the usual style of mine I use... Now I'm flattered that others like it so much that they would try to claim it - (imitation is the best form of flattery) , but I'm more offended that someone would try to steal it. (but some have even tried to use my name as well, so... ) Anyways, you can tell whoever you chatted with that the real author -MoonBee Canady & the real poem of 'Summer Light' is still in poetic possession... I hope all readers keep enjoying & sharing the gift of Poetry. MoonBee Canady
