Summer Love - Poem by Martina Nikolovska

I don't even know where to start from,
it's like a fairy tale
without a beginning.
like a powerful and sweet poem,
without an ending.
like a hopeless love
that started awhile ago.

Five thousand miles apart,
wishing upon a star,
just to feel your heart,
and see you at least once a month.
All I can say is that I am waiting,
each and every second of the day,
for the hopeless summer to come.
Only the thought of going back
to my beautiful country,
makes me the happiest person alive.
Knowing that I will see my friends, my family,
but most importantly, my love.

It's amazing how his beautiful, brown eyes
looked at me the last time I saw him.
His touch, his eyes, his hair,
I cannot describe them.
He is just someone special to me.
I cannot wait to see him.
I want to see if he still has that look in his eyes,
the one that he had for me,
last year before we said our last goodbyes.
