The sun wrote gold across the sky,
As laughter learned the breeze could fly.
Barefoot dreams on sandy shore,
Two hearts found what they searched for.

The days were long with amber light,
The stars stayed close each velvet night.
We chased the waves, we caught the rain,
And danced through joy without a name.

Your smile was warmer than July,
A quiet spark beneath the sky.
Every sunset softly knew
The world felt brighter next to you.

Ice cream melted, time stood still,
Wildflowers climbed the silent hill.
Every kiss the ocean kept,
Every promise twilight swept.

Though seasons turn and leaves will fall,
Summer cannot lose it all.
For love once blooming in the sun
Lives on long after summer's done.

So when warm winds return once more,
I'll hear your footsteps on the shore.
A summer heart will always see
That fleeting love can last in memory.
