Summertime is a time for fun,
to frolic and play in the sun,
when all our work is over, done.
Go have some fun! Go have some fun!

Summertime is to swim and play,
games to enjoy, most ev'ry day.
Relax, enjoy, then go your way.
Hear what I say. Hear what I say.

Summertime is to get all tanned,
just lie around on golden sand;
enjoy the day, with things unplanned.
