The sun and the moon fell in love
But they never got to touch
Separated by the stars in the sky
They grew up apart just like us
Cause the distance hurt too much
Only ever said hello and goodbye

The sun is scared that once she blinks
The moon will vanished and be gone
But then he promises to stay by her side
They both agreed to always be in touch
Illuminating the world just like us
Until the day that the moon never showed up

When we crash down in flames
Will we heal or will we hurt
Burn so bright that everyone
Can see us down on earth
Will they dance in our day light
Or will they miss the night fall
Are we too good for each other
Or bad after all

I wonder if I'm ever gonna see you again
Will we always be a universe apart
Something tells me that this isn't the end
There's still space in my heart

I'm out here searching for you
Hope you know how hard I've tried
I wonder if I'm ever gonna see you again
I'm waiting for the day we re-collide
