Sun.Moon. Poem by Bea Hayden

Sun.Moon.

i shone brighter the instant that I saw you.
ive been shining brighter ever since.

even though you, you
kept your distance.
you always seemed... unreachable.
i saw myself reflected in you and i was so
excited.
I wanted to warm you up but you stayed
oh so cold and you kept your distance and
even though it seemed as if you were my total
opposite, your
dark and mysterious ways
intrigued me and I wanted to
fall
into your orbit, so terribly.
It shouldnt have been a surprise when I created some of the most
beautiful colors and you
disappeared.

I see pieces of you in the sky, but it
has been ages since ive seen you
Fully Illuminated
in the night.
illuminated by me
