Sun Stroke(Inspired By Ivan Bunin) Poem by Katerina Hutchinson

Sun Stroke(Inspired By Ivan Bunin)

I know I am cynical today.
This story made me furious and angry!
It's too banal, pathetic, silly:
About Love, about feelings.
Affair on the boat.
Hot summer's day.
And sleepless night together.
Provincial hotel.
Departure in the morning.
Without names or letter.
Without any warning
About events later.

Last kiss - too passionate and strong.
They will remember it for long.

Last touch without any miming:
What left, what lost and reconciling.

I'm glad she's gone without any trace.
And punished him for our entire race!
