Sun Through My Window Poem by Anonymous Still

Sun Through My Window

Sun through my window
The goodbyes are never so warm
When the sun peeks through my window
As the rays fall on  my face
And he asks me everyday
"Hey are you okay"
The rays shine through my eyes
And mirror compliments me
"Hey you are not lookin as dead today"
Little did that fool know
 I borrow it
When the sun peeks through my window..

Lying on my bed
Looking at the walls
Remembering the fall
That I couldn't get up from
The sun spreads it's silver on my bed
Holds my hand
And takes me away from reality
The stubborn friend
Trying to remove my darkness
Even  the guards of curtains couldn't stop him
When sun peeks through my window

Maybe he is my guardian angel in disguise
Who comes to meet me everyday
Playing hide and seek with clouds
very gently removes that ghostly aura
That sometimes surrounds me
 So maybe nextime
When the life reflects through me
And I feel a bit alive
And when it's best to click a photo
Where all of my zombies can safely hide
Know that it happens only
When the sun peeks through my window
