Sunday Evenings - Poem by Orhan Veli Kanik

I am shabby now, but
After I pay my debts
I will probably have one time more garment
And probably you
Won't love me still.
Besides this, sunday evenings
When I pass through your neighborhood,
Adorned,
Do you think that I will
Value you as much as now?
