Sunflower Poem by Lucas Huang

Sunflower

I am a sunflower.
I face the being which gives me life,
Greeting her everyday.
I face her until the day I die.
As I get older, I get weaker.
Others block the one I love.
They suck the life out of me.
By stealing my water.
As I start to die,
I pollinate many seeds to start a new generation.
Eventually, I wither away,
But, I will come back next year,
And start all over again!
