Sunflower Poem by Jimmy L. Lyons

Sunflower

She is so, so sweet; she's sweeter than honey;
she's sweeter than sugar; she's my beautiful sunflower.

I'm writing a song about this lady; she's my rainbow in the sky.
This lady's the love of my life; she's my beautiful sunflower.

I will cook and care for this lady, for she has God in her life.
I will supply her every need; she's my beautiful sunflower.

This sweet and caring person is the object of my desire.
I want to be everything to her; she's my beautiful sunflower.

I'd love to paint a picture of my love for this lady;
I can see her in my mind; she's my beautiful sunflower.

I ask God to bless this lady - this lady who's so, so sweet
I'm sending my love to her; she's my beautiful sunflower.
