Sunflower Soul Poem by Hestill Lives

Sunflower Soul

Rating: 5.0

Do sunflowers stop to weep
Having melted off the sun
Do they weep for me or you
You see they sing of happiness
I've seen them bow in prayer

Their edges cut the sunshine
Their points the summer air
Their center holds a cardinal meal
Their stalks chase a bluer sky
Backed by trees or outer space
Tell me how they came by all this grace
