Sunlit Breeze Poem by Sumita Jetley

Sunlit Breeze

In a study bathed in golden light,
Professor Alim and young Zaid sit,
Among books and plants, a sight
Of wisdom and warmth perfectly knit.

'Nothing great from lukewarm springs, '
Said Alim with a gentle smile,
As sunlight through the window sings,
And they sip their tea for a while.

'The sun gives all without a pause,
Illuminates and warms the day;
In giving fully to your cause,
You'll find the true Sufi way.'

Zaid listened, his heart inspired,
To live with passion, to wholly commit,
By tales of sunbeams, he was fired,
To give his all, and never quit.

So in that room where light did dance,
Professor Alim shared the key:
In every act, give it a chance—
To be your all, completely free.

The lesson learned, Zaid then knew,
Full hearts ignite the deepest change,
With every dawn, his courage grew,
On paths of light, vast and strange.
