Sunrise Poem by H Seeking

Sunrise

Rating: 1.5

I shared a sunrise today
The moment was sublime
We were united in time

Not just verse and rhyme
Which is very fine
This however was divine

Being apart does not matter
Not when there is idle chatter
On things mundane like the mad hatter

The view was extra serene
When with you I have been
And mortal eyes unseen

Peach, rose and pale blue
How the great artist sews
Myriad colours of different hues

They were a kaleidoscope
Changing every moment's scope
And filling one's heart with a lot of hope

I know now why poets love nature
When you love God's special creatures
You appreciate the planet's every feature
