Sunset Poem by Anna Naumovych

Sunset

Rating: 5.0

On this day, you are here for a while
And have already confused me with someone else.
I need to be dramatic, but I'm not hostile.
I don't want some stranger, all the more regrets.

You do not hear reproaches from me
And do not consider humility as a virtue.
I'm tired of strange hints and no guarantees,
I'd like to escape, but in trouble for breaking the curfew.

An invisible blade cuts through our air,
I've got into a trap that you set.
You hammer your nails into me and our affair
While I whisper "I love you" at my final sunset.
