Sunset Of Their Day Poem by Kisha M.

Sunset Of Their Day

The garish golden star
Sprawl in the heart of solar
Rise with a soaring hope
Leave with no mope

A battle with languorous heat
No way to learn the true fatigue
Live in the horizon of worry
To clinch the tract of duty

They,
Who smiles brightly as the sun
Whose heart pure and brawn
Without spoon, they feed their son
Without shoes, they chase the dawn

On their last day
The sun might lose its spark
But
They brighten in the dark

On their last day,
The sun might lose its light
But
They glow in the twilight

On their last day,
The sun might be dull and dreary
But
They'll own a dazzling 'home' eternally

In this midst of night
All I want is one fight
A fight against ignorance
That enchant our inner-self
