Sunshine Poem by Amy Edson

Sunshine

Rating: 3.5

Fill me with your shining light
a touch of strength
a touch of might.

You open up to me
and light up my day.
Dear sunshine,
never fade away.

At night you go to lay your head
then moonlight takes over
it shines on my bed.

I make a wish to one of its shining companions
and go to sleep
awaiting my next sun shining day
