Sunshine Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Sunshine

The sun, we see it bright and bold,
One light, a story often told.

But hidden in that sunny gleam,
A rainbow more than just a dream.

UV light, a potent force,
Helps make Vitamin D, of course.
But too much sun can burn and sting,
So sunscreen, keep it offering!

Infrared light, another key,
For healing both you and me.
Near, mid, and far, each has its way,
To soothe our aches and brighten day.

Go out, but gently greet the sun,
When day is new, or nearly done.
Feel warmth upon your skin so slight,
That's infrared, shining bright.

By leaves or grass, the light will bounce,
A healthy gift, without an ounce
Of cost, just nature's open hand,
A healing light across the land.
