Sunshine Poem by Natasa To

Sunshine

Sunshine

Sunshine, sunshine, bright and clear,
Chasing all the clouds away,
Waking every flower near,
Bringing gold to greet the day.

Dancing softly on the trees,
Sparkling brightly on the stream,
Riding gently on the breeze,
Like a golden morning dream.

Warm the earth and light the sky,
Paint the world in shades of gold,
Lift your rays so warm and high,
Turn the gray to bright and bold.

And when rain begins to fall,
When the skies are dark and blue,
Sunshine waits beyond it all,
Bringing hope and warmth anew.
