Sunshine Poem by Andre Brown

Sunshine

Infamous for its abundance in the summer months,
Many miss its significance,
Often taken for granted and misrepresented by its attributes,
It is crucial for all existence,
Ever since the beginning of time you have served us well my sunshine,
A star by nature, yet when out of sight out of mind,
Long awaited while you rest,
My dear sunshine till we meet again at sunrise from sunset.
