Super Mom(S) Poem by Weldon Davis

Super Mom(S)

Cheerios
Baby dolls
Dirty diapers
Round of applause
For all those
Super Moms
Out there
Where
Every day is
Mother's Day
And they feel
Appreciated
Everybody has had
A mother figure
Some of us
Wouldn't have made it
This far
If not for
Those Super Moms
With their
Kind eyes, open arms,
And wise smiles
Abundance of patience
All the while
Instilling discipline
Teaching us character
Giving us hope
Love
The ones who told
Us
Reach for the stars
And beyond
Those Super Moms
Who feed us
When we're sick
Whether real or
Fabricated: /
Wrapping us in
Tender loving care
Always there
When we fall
To help us up
Who's only fault
Is loving us
Too much if
There is such a thing
What a joy it is
To know their love
The creators
Of life
In this world
Gone wrong
Our first protectors
Our
Super Moms
