Super New Moon Poem by susette varga

Super New Moon

As January's super new moon
Shone down on me
My heart's desires
Enlightened me
Transforming illusions
To reality
With startling clarity
A buoyant transition
Let me see
What once my heart desired
It no longer craved
In failing to reach
A compromise
The painful difficult
Decisions you made
Brought me to where
I am now
Fulfilling your needs
Caused sadness and
Uncertainty
Too angry to talk
You closed yourself off
Felt the need to leave
Me behind
You simply were
Not there for me
Illusions gone
Facing the truth
Accepting the reality
Super moon and it's
Startling clarity
Has shown to me
My hearts desire
Does not crave the same
