Superman Poem by Lois doyle

Superman

yo u r l a u g h m a k e s t h e w i n d s t o p

to listen

Knowing some day, even if it's

in a t h o u s a n d years and I have no one to

sew me back with my sanity,

I'd wait, just to

spend one s e c o n d

with you

YOU'RE my hero,

because you always seem to extinguish

the million pounds of hatred-burning

redfire

every morning I awake with the glistening

t h o u g h t

of your smiling

face.

Nothing can compare to how

AMAZING

you make me feel inside,

like an artist from the below awakening,

and opening his eyes to the brushpainted world,

where he is

appreciated.

The s t a r s long to shine like your eyes,

the s u n gravels at your feet for protection from the

darkness,

The W a t e r in your eyes glistens like a

ballroom dance.

Ohh darling,

YOU are the superman

to me

the world

the sun

the moon

and

the

Stars.
