Drawn by your radiance, we reflected the smiles
you gave so hesitantly.
Just for a moment.
To be close to you.

Sweet energy, never lost,
but transferred to restful peace
Sheltered by the hand of God
in spaces unknown and unseen by
mortal eyes

Still we see you in the sky, where beauty lives
and your laughter sends showers of
joy, bathed in the memory
of a powerful star
and those of us who knew you and loved you
we know where you are.

Our hearts transformed
by knowing you,
just for a moment.
