Superstitions Poem by Ghazala Lari

Superstitions

The day we embrace light and forsake dark,
We'll grasp that words, numbers and stars don't unveil fate's mark.
No more enchanting, no casting spells on others,
Instead, we'll own our faults, sisters and brothers.

Accountability we'll hold, no more blame game,
Accepting our flaws, no longer seeking fame.
Giving selflessly, from the core of our being,
Empathy genuine, not just for the seeing.

Understanding others' struggles as much as our own,
Respecting rights, not just a mere tone.
Duties fulfilled, responsibilities honored,
No longer controlling, but humbly surrendered.

Light as knowledge, darkness as deceit,
Distinguishing magic from a miracle sweet.
Submitting to the Creator, letting go of control,
Finding our place, nurturing the soul.

Hand in hand with the world, dreams to Allah's will,
Inner peace, courage, happiness, a tranquil fill.
On that day, a transformation complete,
Eternal joy, in submission, we meet.

Explanation of the above poem

On that glorious day when the world finally embraced the light and forsook the darkness, a profound change swept across the land. As the first rays of dawn peeked over the horizon, there was a collective sigh of relief, as if a great weight had been lifted from the shoulders of humanity. The air was charged with an energy of hope and renewal, as if the very essence of the earth had been transformed.

The streets were bustling with people, their faces alight with joy and a sense of purpose. There was a palpable feeling of community, of shared responsibility and mutual understanding. Gone were the days of finger-pointing and blame-shifting; in their place was a newfound sense of accountability and empathy. Neighbors helped neighbors, strangers smiled at one another, and the air was filled with the sound of laughter and the sharing of stories.

The shadows cast by the old ways of thinking were slowly but surely being replaced by the warm, inviting light of truth and understanding. People began to recognize that words, numbers, and stars could only take them so far in their quest to unravel the mysteries of life; true enlightenment could only come from within. They embraced their flaws and imperfections, accepting them as part of what made them human.

In this new world order, selflessness and empathy reigned supreme. People went out of their way to help others, to listen to their stories, and to offer comfort and support when it was needed. They respected the rights of others, not because it was the law, but because it was the right thing to do. They fulfilled their duties and responsibilities with diligence and humility, knowing that in doing so, they were contributing to the greater good.

The line between magic and miracle became blurred, as people began to see the divine in the mundane. They submitted to the will of the Creator, trusting that the universe had a plan far greater than anything they could conjure on their own. In doing so, they found a sense of peace and purpose that had been eluding them for generations.

Hand in hand with the world, dreams now aligned with Allah's will, and inner peace, courage, and happiness became the new norm. Nurturing the soul became a priority, as people recognized that it was through the cultivation of their inner lives that they could truly make a difference in the world.

And so, the day came and went, but its effects lingered on, transforming the landscape of human existence forever. In its wake, a new era of understanding, compassion, and unity was born, and it was in this world that we found our truest home.
